Does anyone have a favorite or special Sacramental they’d like to share with the forum? Or maybe a special devotion to a Saint or the Blessed Mother under one of her many wonderful titles?

I wanted to start a thread about this so we can share with each other all the wonderful treasures of our One, Holy, Apostolic, and of course, Catholic Church. (Yes, I know, the 4 marks are out of order)

My favourite sacramental is a small silver cross. Last summer I was agnozing over spiritual questions, being very interested in Jewish mysticism, but contemplating a conversion to Christianity. With my interest in Judaism, I found myself really drawn to Jerusalem and the symbols of the Hebrew scriptures.

I then found a small silver cross from Jerusalem, just lying on the ground at a park. Somehow, for no real specific reason, the discovery struck me as intentional, as though I was being told that what I loved about Jewish mysticism was really fulfilled in Christ and that Jerusalem derives its dignity from the Cross and Sepulchre. It seemed like a nudge in the direction of Christ.

One day, soon I hope, I will take a pilgrimage to Jerusalem and return the cross there.
