I did NOT make this thread to have a religious debate, I would prefer no debating whatsoever. I created this thread because I am confused and looking for guidance from my brothers and sisters in Christ, along with help from our Father.

Please don’t turn this into any sort of “Catholic vs Protestant” debacle!

You must decide together.

I was in a mix engagement. We discussed all the different denominations and weeded through them looking at their statements of faith.

We took Christianity 101 classes together at my Lutheran Church. Spouse decided - hey, I’m not really that Catholic!! Problem solved.

However you decide to tackle this do it together. No one party can or should be forced you do not this to become a wedge later in your marriage.
