speech help

I posted this in the back fence section, but only got one reply. Folks in this section are usually more talkative, so I’m reposting it here

Help please!! I have a 6-8 min informative speech due in a couple of weeks and I have yet to pick a topic. We can’t do abortion, death penalty, or anything religious/spiritual in nature. I was thinking maybe something related to genetic engineering, biofuels (specifically algae), NFP, pregnancy, or small babies because that’s all I’ve researched extensively in the past year. That really does not narrow it down much at all though…

I worked in a lab for about a year doing genetic modifications on tomatoes, and during that time I helped my professor write a $1 million grant for a project of genetically modifying algae for ultimate biodiesel production (intensive research with that). I’m quite familiar with sympto-thermal NFP having used it to avoid for a while and then conceive a little sticky bun about three months ago. I’ve been looking into natural birthing options available (or not available coughMissouricough), breastfeeding benefits, and cloth diapers as well.

Any thoughts or tips to help me narrow it a bit???

I think an informative speech about NFP would be an awesome one.

Last night Dr. Janet Smith was on Living His Life Abundantly on EWTN. I missed the first half of it. But, she had some great info on there that I hadn’t heard (or forgot about.) You could probably catch a re-broadcast or it might be on one of their websites.

The part I did hear was about how chemical contraceptives interrupt the natural bonding process. I would personally love to hear more info regarding that.
