I recently saw a post on Fr. Z, and wanted to spread the word here. Bishop Morlino, of the diocese of Madison, WI, is one of the best bishops in the country, if I dare say. He is a great supporter of the EF, and also a great supporter of the OF celebrated reverently, and with a strong continunity with the EF. And did I mention he also asked Fr. Z to come to Madison and be the head of the EF Society at his Cathedral parish?

The EF Society in Madison is doing a spiritual bouquet for him, and there’s 10 days left.

For more information, go to Fr. Z’s blog here (wdtprs.com/blog/2012/11/collecting-a-spiritual-bouquet-for-bp-morlino-d-madison/) or just go right to the site where you can submit your prayers (blog.yankehome.com/morlino).

Join everyone in prayers for this wonderful, traditional, and holy bishop!

I’ll add him to today’s rosary intentions. I thank God for good shepards.

I’ve been praying specially for two bishops this month: Bishop Morlino for the intention of this spiritual bouquet and for his health – and also for Archbishop Chaput for a good recovery from his knee surgery.

May God give them many blessings!

Jesus, God and man,
imprisoned by love in Thy most holy Sacrament,
have mercy upon us.

Tú y yo sabemos por la fe que oculto en las especies sacramentales está Cristo,
ese Cristo con su Cuerpo, con su Sangre, con su Alma, y con su Divinidad,
prisonero de amor.

… Our Lord Himself frequently said; and it is recorded as an Apostolic tradition from Him
by St. Justin the Martyr. He says ‘Jesus often said, “They who are near Me are near a fire”’.
