So… I loved the question back… what do you say to someone who professes to be spiritual and not religious?
I would ask them how they manifest that spirituality and also to whom are you spiritual with? I mean… psychics are spiritual but not to God.
I also loved the analogy about chewing your food and not digesting it. Analogies are the best explanation for me to understand. We know that the two (spirituality/religious) compliment each other. Lots of people posted the positives and negatives of both… but together they seem to come up ONLY positive… am I on to something?
I had a non-catholic friend tell me that she didn’t need to attend church on Sundays because she still has her focus on Christ. I asked her what the 10 Commandments meant to her. She said that was OT. This is the apologetics I need to study more because she stumps me… and I know how I feel but can’t explain well!
