To 186- Venerable Carlo Acutis

I am thinking of the venerable Carlo Acutis
who will be beatified on October 10th.

Some people are outraged that worshiping a dead person is idolatry.
And they are right.

But for us Catholics, it is a worship that we render to the Lord
when we appreciate and revere what God has done beautiful,
good and good through the Heart of a person who has let himself
be loved by Him and who allowed this divine Love to flow freely
to other hearts by performing all kinds of charitable gestures.

We too, by approaching the Heart of God,
we are called to let ourselves be loved by him,
and let this Love flow from our heart to other hearts.

We are free to accept or refuse.

All Saints’ Day

Today is the feast of All Saints … All Saints!
All Saints’ Day is the feast of all those
who have let themselves be loved by God so much,
that they have allowed Him to take possession
of their hearts so that, being well connected to Jesus,
the Lord can leave His imprint of Love
in all the charitable gestures and words they gave to others.

If we’re all called to holiness, then I can tell you…

A young girl had a valuable pearl necklace.

One day, his father asks her to give it to him.

The young girl found herself in great pain and felt so torn that she said no, seeing everything she thought she was losing in the end.

Then, trusting the love of this daddy who never failed her,

she agreed to give him what was most important to her … that famous necklace.

The father, in return, presents her with a necklace of the most precious diamonds.

This story makes me think about this …

Oh! How God fills us, when we consent

to detach ourselves from everything that seems so precious and irreplaceable to us!!!

Mary agreed to be our Mother,
despite the fact that we killed Her Son.

Is there anything harder for a mother to forgive,
who sees Her own child being killed in front of Her eyes?

Not only has She forgiven us all without exception,
but in addition, She adopted us all as Her children!!!
She made herself so close to us with that « fiat »

She brought Him into the world at the Manger…
She gave Him to the world from His Birth to the Cross…
She let the love of God flow to us.

This is how She loved with the Heart of God.

Sacrament of Forgiveness?
It’s the best love story ever …
The most beautiful date between lovers!
Two patients who meet …

One, sick of Love for us … (God)
The other, sick in lack of Love … (us)

Humanly speaking, to find a lover,
we have to be at our best so that
the other can evaluate us positively
since we don’t yet know if he loves us.

At Sacrament of forgiveness, we find the Lover of our soul
and we come as we are so that
God gives us back our dignity and our original beauty,
since we know that he loves us.

Admitting our lack of love is never easy.
We are not going to brag about our successes !!!

To admit on the surface, our sins …

It’s a bit like mowing the lawn …
Weeds are not removed and uprooted.

It’s like sweeping, but only where it seems …
We know there is dust under furniture!

By a good and deep confession of our errors,
we allow jesus to pass
in every corner of our being
to completely renovate it …

In the face of evil, hypocrisy, lies, we are inclined to blame those who drink it down. But precisely, we do not have to drink what is served to us!

Let us lay everything at the foot of The Cross of Jesus, reminding ourselves with love that these mechanisms which some use against us are, in fact, dead parts of their soul and their heart.

Let us ask Jesus to resurrect all that is lifeless in these people, just as Martha did for Lazarus.
