Please pray for me fervently.

I struggle with scrupulosity in such a way that I fear I am never in a state of grace, and then when the fear of this creeps in, I begin to distrust God and make even matters worse, because of the sin of despair.

There have been periods of this, when I felt I was beyond reach, but it’s never lasted this long before. I am constantly living in fear that I will die/Second Coming will occur before I am able to fix this part of myself, and I will be rejected by God.

I am praying about this, searching for answers everywhere, but nothing seems to work. I try to trust in God’s love, but I always seem to be lead back to the same place everytime. I know it’s ridiculous; if my God being nailed to a tree between 2 criminals does not show His great love, what does? But I still struggle.

I am begging at this point; please pray for me, and please ask all the Saints to pray for me, fervently. I feel like my own distrustful prayers are failing me at this point.

Divine Mercy Chaplet

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

I will pray that you can find a priest to assist you with these matters of scrupulosity and fear.

God bless

For your peace of mind and soul
Our Father, Hail Mary’s, Glory Be, Fatima, Amen!

Jesus I trust in You.
Jesus I trust in You.

Eternal Father, in our difficulties, in our disappointments, in our illnesses, in our intellectual deliberations, we cannot endure prolonged or severe spiritual desolation without Your support.
Please comfort us, and increase our faith.

You know that Jesus, though sinless, chose to suffer with us, drinking the cup of our unloving choices to the full. Jesus suffered doubt as we do when He cried out, “My God, My God, why have You abandoned Me?” We unite our doubt with His, for You look with silent pity and unspeakable love on Your Son.

Jesus, You say to me, “Take up your cross and follow Me!” “If you love me, keep my commandments.” I fix my eyes upon the bright scars of Your ransom for me. Why did You suffer so terribly for me who even now remain unconverted? Yet Your wounds, Your hands, Your heart and Your word are filled with promises that You desire to fulfil in me and in others.

Give us strength to bear doubt when it comes, dear Jesus, so that with You we can say, “Father, into Your hands I commend my spirit”, thus joining with You to death of unbelief and sin—into freedom of rising with You into the glory of the redeemed spirit.

Jesus, I offer You my only coin—trust against all appearances, hope despite my heartache, and faith despite my sins and flaws. Mercifully accept this meagre offering and open Your treasure house of love to me and my loved ones, and to those whom You wish to serve through me.

Forgive my unbelief

Our God, we humans feel need for practical alleviation in times of grief, difficulty and anxiety. When I am embroiled in grief, clasp me to Your heart.

When I am sad or unwell, when troubles beset my family or friends, when I make mistakes, and when the pain or sin of the world assails me, please lift my spirit with God’s love, and with the kindness of those whom God sends.

If in my sorrow I doubt Your mercy, please accept my heartache and tears as prayer for others. Forgive me if I feel anger or dismay, in my frustrated yearning for real help for loved ones in their genuine needs, difficulty and pain!

Please allow no one to suffer for my doubt, but give me faith to become a better vehicle of intercession and blessing for others. Give me remembrance always that I need not plead desperately for Your mercy but will open my heart to the flood of mercy that awaits my welcome. October 1999

Saint Padre Pio wrote, “Pray, hope and do not worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.” Jesus told Saint Gertrude, “Confidence [trust] alone easily obtains all things.”
