Can someone please clarify this? The Church recognizes 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Catechism paragraph 1831 (Wisdom, fortitude, understanding, counsel, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord). Paul in the 1st Letter to the Corinthians (Chap 12) also mention the gifts of faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, distinguish between spirits, tongues, and interpretation of tongues. Why are these not stated in the Catechism?

Extraordinary gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as miracles and tongues, are mentioned in the Catechism, paragraph 2003.

Thank you Todd. I will read some more on it to understand the charisma and gifts. It is difficult to comprehend.
