I have a quick question/request. Envy of another’s spiritual good is one of the greatest sins. I have some troubles understanding what exactly “spritual good” is. Could you give any practical examples?
I think that spiritual envy would mean that instead of appreciating the goodness in others, how virtuous and blessed by God they seem,
we are **resentful **that we are not as holy or good,
and resentful that we are seemingly less blessed by God than others seem to be.
