Michael Voris (RealCatholicTV) recently addressed some fellow Catholics in Sacramento on an especially pertinent, rather urgent topic – the Church’s survival in the event of a widespread societal collapse. Watch it when you have an hour free. He’s got a very engaging style and enthusiasm, so it doesn’t drag on tediously.

“Spiritual Warfare and Western Civilization”.

What do y’all think of his points (that is, either philosophically or just practically)? Please only answer if you’re a Catholic or, at the least, a relatively traditional sort of orthodox Christian. In other words: if you completely reject all the man’s assumptions and simply think he’s way off-base about matters of fact, try hard to limit your response to a private face-palm or slow-head-shake within the confines of your own home. I’m mostly attempting to gauge the opinions of fundamentally like-minded, philosophy-oriented Catholics.

I may have watched this - what are some main points?

If you are interested in reading more about Catholic philiosophy, I recommend The War Against Being by James Larson. It is available free online.

Wonderful talk. But then again, I love everything Michael does. 🙂
