I’ve read many Spiritual Warfare Books. And I think it is good to educate yourself about when you are under attack, but the best way to combat it is through the Rosary and mediating on the Mysteries, that is why it has been referred to as the Most Powerful Weapon, Holy Water and some would argue but I found the most protection by attending a Traditional Mass.

Sometimes, the closer I try to get to Jesus, the more I am tempted. I guess if satan went after Jesus in the desert 3 times, then he will come after us too.

Amen! The Spiritual Combat by Dom Lorenzo Scupoli is E X C E L L E N T !!
The first edition was published in 1589. It was the favorite book of Saint Francis de Sales. I would encourage you to buy the original classic from Tan Books, since they are a great Catholic company who need our support.
There is also a recently published book called “The Spiritual Combat Revisited” by Father Jonathan Robinson which helps contemporary Catholics understand the original classic book better.

Thanks all. Will definitely check them out…I ordered Dear Heatemup - Will check that one out first. The “look inside” feature on Amazon.com told me that it was easy to read and very Catholic.
