Spiritual Warfare Need Advice

Also in an intense situation like that I would not worry so much about all the prayers I could think of. I would say a few quick ### pray for me ones and then wing it. If you need to, pause a while and just focus on the love that we know God has for us. Imagine it flowing out of you and filling the room. Then speak it. Speak your thoughts as you are doing it. “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.” In the armour of God they are all defensive except one. The sword of the spirit and the sword is 'the word of God" which is the words contained in the bible. Empower yourself by getting better aquainted with what’s in there and perhaps learning a few appropriate quotes.

A lot of us Catholics focus so much on praying via someone else that we forget or have overlooked the words that Jesus said and the words that are in the bible. We are a bible believing church. That means all of it not just bits of it.

We have the Authority to cast out demons. Given to us by Jesus Himself. There’s power in the words we speak. Jesus says Ask anything in my name and I will do it. So take authority over those demons. They want you to be scared so get mad and get them back. Tell them to leave in Jesus name and they will. But you have to believe it. Read the epistles more to get a better idea of what’s available to us in todays world.

If God is for us, who can stand against us. You can do it.

I’ve had my fair share of negative spiritual experiences, especially when I was outside of the Church, so I know what it can be like. It’s not pleasant, to say the least, and it can ware on you. I will pray for you.

I would not avoid spending the night but show the courage of the Triune God within you!!!

Put the image of the Divine Mercy in her house!!! It will protect her and and those that live in the house from evil. Jesus promises in St. Faustina’s Diary to do this. Print an image from the internet. Make sure it says “Jesus I Trust in You” on the image. It protects us from evil in the same way it protected the Jews from the Angel of death in Egypt just prior to the Exodus. Remember the Our Father: “lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.”

Go there more often, develop a better relationship with her and at the same time exercise the demons just by your presents (with a show of courage) and the Power of God’s Word and prayer. They will flee because they will recognize the Power within you!!! You will be protection for your mother and her house.

While you are there pray for the conversion of your mother by using the pray for conversion that Jesus gave to St. Faustina: “O Blood and Water that gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a Fount of Mercy for us I TRUST in you.” say this three times consecutively. You can pray this prayer as often as you like and the recipient(s) will gain from it. I would pray this prayer each time you see your mother sin. Also pray the chaplet for her conversion and the conversion of the “Whole World.”

Jesus guarantees its effectiveness.

My mother is a diehard feminist liberal, very anti-christian, prochoice, pro everything I am against. You can imagine that our relationship is very shallow. I stand up quietly for my traditional Catholic beliefs.
Anyway I went to stay overnight and lying in the guest room, I was assaulted by horrific images of abortion. The experience was prolonged and powerful. I felt assaulted by demonic presence. I prayed as hard as I have ever prayed, every prayer I could think of, especially to St. Michael the Archangel and to Our Mother for these babies. It helped but it was at least 2-3 hours.
I need to go to confession although I have said the Act of Contrition for my sin. I intend to go at the next scheduled confession time. But would God have allowed this to happen to me as punishment? Is it possible that my mother’s house has a demonic presence? I always feel uncomfortable there. My husband has promised to go with me when he can and has advised me not to spend the night.

Everyone has given good and profound advice. Keep your mother in prayer daily and continue to show love, compassion & understanding to her. Your family is really something to be pround of. Commit your mother to Jesus Christ in daily prayer & at Mass.

I see you have two issues at hand.

First, the frightening attack you experienced. In my personal experience, asking for the Holy Blood of Lord Jesus Christ to cover and protect me has always worked. No matter where I go.

Second, the implications of that attack. There is no point in speculating about the whys and wherefores of such a happening because doing so will distract you from the very thing you should do, which is to offer prayers to God. Besides the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, I have found the 15 Prayers of St Bridget to be most effective in dealing with paranormal disturbances. Even miraculous.

Sometimes we are called upon to pray for members of our family who are spiritually weak. Become prayer warriors for them.

   First thing to do in the case of suspected demonic attack is to increase prayer life and these suggestions are good ones.   Also the Rosary is needed.

  Malachi Martin said that he believed demonic attacks to be more common than we would think.   He also believed that many are perfectly possessed which is akin or the same as when the Holy Spirit departs in grief from a person who refuses to participate in God's Plan of  Salvation.

  It will take prayer to discern what happened & why.    The Bible says that the times immediately before the End the world will become as before the Great Flood of Noah's time.  Some even speculate that the Holy Spirit may even withdraw that feeling of security that we as Christens presently enjoy.   We will have to rely on blind faith and the visible Mystical Body of Christ that is the Church.
 
Have a Green Scapular blessed and hide it in her bedroom, under her mattress perhaps, and say the following prayer at least once a day for her (and another time for yourself):

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Pray for us, now, and at the hour of our death.

Great graces are given to those who say this prayer and to those who are having it said for them. Conversion is promised by Our Lady, but it will all be in God’s perfect timing. Have great faith and know your mother will one day come to God, even if it’s at the last moment of her life 🙂

I experienced something similar this summer when I stayed at someone’s house. I didn’t know her very well but I suspected she was involved in some practices that were putting her in danger. I felt called to leave her house immediately and I told her why. It felt awkward but at least I gave her the information. Some people are involved in New Age stuff and don’t realize how dangerous it is. I could understand why that might not be advisable in your mother’s case but for some reason I felt like I had to say something.

I would reiterate what others’ have said and avoid staying the night. Perhaps you could agree to meet your mother elsewhere than in her house. While I appreciate your husband’s offer, I wouldn’t recommend placing yourself in a position where you might be attacked. After the experience I had, I would be cautious if I were you. I know a lot of people might say to bring a rosary and scapular with you. While these are good things there is a reason why priests are trained to do these types of things. If it is an evil presence I would recommend against trying to take it on yourself. The fact of the matter is, your mother may have, probably unknowingly, invited the presence in, so I doubt that you could get rid of it.

As many have said, I would continue to pray for your mother’s conversion, that may have been why you had this experience in the first place. I hope everything goes well for you. I hope you have the chance to talk to your priest about it.
 
If you are telling the truth then by all means it sounds like heavy enemy encampment; seeking whom it can devour or drive away.

Pray for your mum and honor her even if at a distance. If you are a true believer and you sense something amiss when visiting locales, usually that is an indicator that something has a presence. oppression and possession are not uncommon in our world and there is more pagan activity now than ever before. pagan practices are covered up by so called freedom of reigion…in hindsight those practices such as witchcraft and affiliation is not religion; it is false.

With heavy activity of detestable mannerisms it is no wonder we are bombarded and assailed. Witchcraft should be abolished and the practice or anything of familiar design to it should be prohibited for our welfare; for it is a conduit that destroys rather than produces.

Many false teachers have gone out into the world and blinded, yoked and held captive those lost and blind and trying to find home. "Let us not be one of them; either in practice, in word or in deed. For we are to love, stand and deliver the truth in and through JESUS CHRIST.

Praise be to GOD the heavenly father and his son lord JESUS CHRIST forever>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
