I am investigating the concept of trans-generational curses and the " Healing Your family Tree" program from Fr. John Hampsch. I am curious as to how many of you have participated in this program and what your impressions are. I am reading his book now, but I find the layout very annoying and difficult to sort through.

I do not want to argue the validity of the concept per se, as I am pretty well convinced it is valid. I am interested in people’s experiences with this idea and how it is applied. Secondarilly, I am trying to discern the effects and extent of occult influence in the family tree. Comments are welcome, Please.

Have you ever heard of the Padre Pio deliverance center? You can google them.T hey have a prayer catalog, including generational prayers. They might be a good resource on your search - they place loyalty the the Church first and foremost and make sure to never overstep the boundry of Cannon Law - which is very helpful as that genre can get pretty murky pretty fast.

Yes it is a very excelent site. I’ve been helped enormously in my Catholic life and faith and love of God over the last year or so. I know of the prayers you refer to and I have availed myself of them. I am seeking more information hopefully from those who have been through the program or can contribute some experience with trans-generational curses. Thanks for your kind response,
