I thought that I would give the Lutheran view of the Eucharist. We believe in the Real Presence in the bread and wine, but we believe that you must receive both the bread and wine in order to receive Christ Body and Blood. We believe this because Christ said when He took the bread, He said “This is My Body… and when He took the cup, He said This is My Blood…”.
