SPLIT: Pagans are deceived by Satan

After reading all the posts here I feel IMHO That many of these posts and those that are posting are really not informed. I do not mean to put anyone down , but your lack of insight and knowledge is confusing the issue. Those that believe that witches are not influenced by the devil are mistaken. Those that think that being a druid or pagan and do not believe in a power other than GOD are mistaken. The devil is out there … and he is confusing and trying to convince people that all these " other religions" are alright. If you are not following the teaching of Jesus the Christ but think that another path will take you to Heaven you have been deceived. All these are brought to you to confuse you … and many of these things have a certain attraction. Witchcraft does exist and people that have the knowledge can and will curse items. Whether you believe in this or not does not change the fact that the devil does have power in this world and will use it to pull people away from GOD. Thinking that you can dabble in witchcraft or think that Mother Earth is a god or believe in pagan rituals and none of this will affect you is wrong and the devil will use his power to convince you that these things are okay. Rid yourselves of anything that is not from GOD and follow the path the Jesus showed us and call upon Our Blessed Mother to strengthen us for the journey.

Well that certainly set me straight. Here I thought a decade of discernment and practice as a pagan afforded me some real insights into my conscience and the nature of the deities I work with. I see now it was all just a clever trap by SATAN. Some Guy on an Internet forum said so, so it must be true. His church only wants the best for me, and all they ask in return is blind obedience and a modest cut of everything I earn. We’ll all get down to confession as soon as possible, but we’re pressed for time trying to finish up our last order for evil artifacts. Our client’s an eccentric guy calls himself “Sauron” and wants a big set of matched rings. He has size 22 fingers and his thing for special alloys is driving the foundry guys and metallurgists batty. Our suppliers in Shanghai are yanking us around, the client’s not happy, we have death mages and orcs with their feet up on the conference room table. People think being a pagan in America is all about fame and glamour, but they don’t see how tough the cursed item business is when the camera crews are gone…

Give us a few more weeks to get this project in tube and we’ll come down and surrender our minds to your church and get this Satan thing cleared up…

YOU are in some serious trouble, when them there hobbits get to town. they are going to clean up the mess you and your evil master Sauron have made! i would not want to be in your shoes, when that 3 foot 5 hero comes around… ohhh nooo!😃 on a more serious note tho. i dont know if you are wiccan, pagan, or both. but why is it when i talk to people who practice magic, that they are afraid of the forces they are attempting to conjure? Peace 🙂

I wouldn’t say we’re “afraid” of these forces. We have a healthy respect for them, as you would any natural force or process. Wind, fire, gravity, radioactivity, electricity. None of them are “good” or “evil” in and of themselves. They simply are. All of them can kill if they are used carelessly, or they can do great things.
