Please post where I made any assertion mentioning any extra-biblical teachings in the Didache.
Don’t bother, you cannot.
It is better to attack what I do not propose than what I do.
Oh please, guan.Originally Posted by** Atemi**

That is nonsense.

The Didache teaches almost nothing your Catechism teaches today. What a horrible claim.**Since the Didache is an extra-biblical document to begin with, that means that this remark,
What do I care about the extra-biblical teachings in the Didache? shows that you are perhaps arguing for the sake of argument.Originally Posted by Atemi
Furthermore, your statement that
is in fact irrelevant because your actual assertion was “The Didache teaches almost nothing your Catechism teaches today.” and I and my Catholic brothers and sisters have proved you dead wrong here, though you now seem to wish to change your assertion (which I will not allow you to do, short of a retraction.) to say that everything that is in the current catechism is not taught in the Didache, but that was never your position to begin with and since you have not retracted it as erroneous, appears to remain your position. No priesthood.
No infant baptism.
No re-presentation of Christ to the Father again and again.
No Real Presence.
No Eucharist being the actual flesh and blood of Christ.
Etc., etc., etc…
Had you made this new assertion initially, Catholics would have simply laughed at you, shrugged, and let it fall as the non point it actually is.
(To those interested, you actually will have to credit me with opening this thread, but only because it was off-topic where it was originally posted and had to be split off by the Mods.
However, the initial assertion is indeed a direct quote of Atemi’s and it appears that he intends to maintain that unsupported opinion regardless of the facts presented.)
