Unfortunately, the “statistic” offered is a random guess because those who offer the statistic claim there is no way to discern whether fertilization has actually occurred.
Charting NFP practitioners who are TTC or at least “open to life” would be able to provide the needed data. Would it be accepted?
(I do not intend to discount those who legitimately have difficulty conceiving children but think that the supposed general difficulty in conceiving is blown way out of proportion in regards to healthy couples.)
I have lost 8 babies, after one I was wondering about the fate of my children. I opened the bible up at random and started reading. I am still amazed how I almost immediately came upon these verses. I like to think that my children are with God and enjoying everlasting happiness, never having to have suffered here on earth. My loss is their gain.
