I have recently watched episode 11 of season 3 of the anomated series “Star Wars Rebels”, called Visions and Voices.
Something bugged me: the atmosphere was very creepy, a “magical” (read: Dark Side-ish) beverage is used as a key device and the main antagonists are the ghosts of witches who try to possess the protagonists to use their bodies in order to remake their clan. I don’t know of I should see this as “occult” or not, mostly because all the rituals are made up with in-universe elements, there is no devil behind this powers (only the fictional "Dark Side of the Force) and even the ghosts are not entirely evil, as it is shown in previous lore that they were shaman-like people who were butchered by the Empire…it has an occult-like atmosphere, but all in all is no more real than Harry Potter’s magic…I don’t really know…opinions?
