My wife and I used to play tennis. We had a custom of finding lovely little parks with tennis courts during our travels and fighting epic battles. I beat her only once. She had a sprained ankle and was on cold medicine, but, hey, I won!

Not good at any sports. Almost flunked physical education - bad at field hockey, bad at volleyball, bad at basketball, in swimming they created a special “beginner beginner” class for two of us in high school and I wasn’t even able to float well (kept sinking). The only thing that saved me from totally flunking high school phys. ed. was modern dance.

I forgot golf! I was resasonably good, but that was due to being taught by father and he was excellent golfer. He could have been a pro.

I did judo and wing chun kung fu when I was in high school and college. It was fun. I competed in a couple of competitions and did okay. I kind of wish I could still go to classes, but alas the time constraints of adulthood. I attempted to be good at basketball and failed. I don’t think I ever made a single free throw. 😂

At my high school, marching band counted for physical education. Thank goodness, or I’d still be in high school now trying to pass gym class 😄.

I have played tennis at various times throughout my life. I get to about above average - good serve. I win games but avoid playing against really good players. 😃. Embarrassing. Then I drift away from it and totally get out of practice. I would love to take it up again or have time to play on a regular basis. When I was a kid I used to practice against the wall, just volleying, backhand, etc. It was the school wall, covered playground. Very fun. I run but I would not say I am a good runner; I jog. I like it though. In my neighborhood the kids draw hopscotch on the sidewalk - and, yes, I jump through the squares to this day when I come across them. I LOVED hopscotch in the second grade. Obsession. Total obsession. I rocked it.

Was a golf professional in my 20’s and played at a high amateur until my mid 40’s

Decent at ping-pong. I have been told I could be a whiz at it if I played it enough.

I played soccer in school. I wasn’t the best but I wasn’t the worst.

I suppose I’m a middle-of-the-pack kind of sports person. Not a bad place to be. I just never will be making the big bucks. 😠

I didn’t get into sports until my early twenties when I started skiing.I became pretty good!
