Please pray for a dear friend of mine who is contemplating leaving her abusive husband, this is a long time coming, but I am afraid for her because I know that it will be a long and dangerous road for her and her children. The last time he was arrested the psychologist told her to be very careful when she decides to leave because he is exactly the sort of man who will kill her, the kids, and then himself. Pray that the lord will protect her and all her beautiful children. Pray also for her husband. When she told me I was so relieved, but then my heart cried out-God please don’t let him hurt them anymore. Please pray, they are going to need it.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
