Spreading news stories

If there is something you see or read on the news but it includes someone murdering or something really bad would I be gossiping by telling people because it would sort of paint the man or woman in a bad light

The Baby Jesus, His Virgin Mother and your Guardian Angel are always watching over you and can see everything you do and hear everything you say. If this is something you that you think they would be totally comfortable hearing, then it is probably not gossip. If you think that they would not be please to hear it, then it probably is, and you should keep it to yourself.
