As the title says. I’d like to know some forms of Spiritual Warfare that are done by Traditionalists Catholics.

Ways of dealing with people doing witchcraft against you, evil spirits and so on.

Trust me as an ex-occultist I know there out there.
Yes, it is real; anyone can read Ephesians 6. I use the armor in prayer, ask for the blood of Christ to mark and protect my family (just as the blood of the lamb marked the doorways of the Jews), Holy water, calling on the angels, etc. The priests who use the old
prayer book (before VII) of blessings pray a more powerful prayer to bless holy water. It sounds more like an exorcism. Of course, our precious Mother Mary has great power to crush demons. But you’re talking about heavy duty stuff; get help.

Yeah I just asked an FSSP priest about it, laity aren’t allowed. He suggested the St Michael prayer…I was curious about this because I knew that a document was released by the CDF in the 1980s forbidding Laity to use “commands” when speaking to the Devil. We’re allowed to ask God (and I think the Saints) to drive out the evil spirits.
According to introduction to the exorcism,
The following is a simple exorcism prayer that can be said by priests or laity. The term “exorcism” does NOT always denote a solemn exorcism involving a person possessed by the devil. In general, the term denotes prayers to “curb the power of the devil and prevent him from doing harm.” As St. Peter had written in Holy Scripture, “your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, goeth about seeking whom he may devour.” (1 St.Peter 5,8)
The Holy Father exhorts priests to say this prayer as often as possible, as a simple exorcism to curb the power of the devil and prevent him from doing harm. The faithful also may say it in their own name, for the same purpose, as any approved prayer. Its use is recommended whenever action of the devil is suspected, causing malice in men, violent temptations and even storms and various calamities. It could be used as a solemn exorcism (an official and public ceremony, in Latin), to expel the devil. It would then be said by a priest, in the name of the Church and only with a Bishop’s permission.

Today is the Feast of the Archangels St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael. I went to mass today especially for them. Here is a good way to get on the good side of all 9 choirs of angels:

The Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel

Kinda gives you confidence in a spiritual fight! :angel1: :knight1: :angel1:

This shoudl be read as imprecatory prayer is not advised:

As an alternative I found this prayer.

preces-latinae.org/thesaurus/Angeli/StMLeoXIII.html

Though I suspect that we shouldn’t say the line “Hinc tuo confisi praesidio ac tutela, sacri ministerii nostri auctoritate [si fuerit laicus, vel clericus qui ordinem exorcistatus nondum suscepit, dicat: sacra sanctae Matris Ecclesiae auctoritate], ad infestationes diabolicae fraudis repellendas in nomine Iesu Christi Dei et Domini nostri fidentes et securi aggredimur.”

or in English

"Henceforth having been confided to thy escort and protection, we sacred ministers by our authority [if recited by a layman, or cleric who has not yet taken up the order of exorcist, say instead, “by the authority of Holy Mother Church ], do undertake to repel the infestations of diabolical deceit in the Name of Jesus Christ, Our God and Lord.”

Does anyone have opinions or knowledge if we can use this prayer?

Seraph

Wear the Brown Scapular and pray the Rosary: …the sign of my protection. Wear it always…The scapular and the rosary…will afford you the most protection. I want all my children to wear one…Wear it always. (Blessed Virgin to “Mariamante” of the Apostolate of Holy Motherhood)

Devotion to St. Michael, the exorcism prayer mentioned earlier, as well as his chaplet. Devotion to your own Angel.

Of course, Holy Mass and Confession regularly (weekly if possible). And Holy Water and Salt, use it often. Meditation of the Passions of Jesus and Mary. Any patron Saints, the Poor Souls. I myself ask for the intercession and protection of Jason, my dear man, who physically fought those into the demonic arts. (BTW, Jason died in August, please pray for the repose of his soul) Hope some of this helps.
