You can see that the site of SSPX has wished “His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, many blessings on the celebration of the 60th anniversary of his ordination to the Priesthood of Our Lord Jesus Christ”. If they are not in the communion with Rome, why did they greet to the Pope Benedict?

I’m not saying that they are schismatics, but a group doesn’t need to be Buddhist for example to greet the Dalai Lama. I mean, even the Orthodox have extended greetings to the Pope on several occasions.
