SSPX Population

I am curious what the US and worldwide population of SSPX “adherents” (for lack of a better word). Gerard mentioned over 2M (I think) just in the US.

Any thoughts? Is this accurate?

Also, what does that mean in terms of vocation “production”? I often hear claims that traditionalists have more vocations, but haven’t seen much documentation.
