The Sisters of St. Andrew were founded in the 13th Century for the sake of tending pilgrim hostels, then hospitals. After the Council of Trent, they became enclosed teachers until the French Revolution. They regrouped and became an active community in the Ignatian tradition.

There are no convents in the US. However, they are in Europe, South America, and Africa.
