For they are nothing and quickly disappear, especially if a man fortify himself beforehand with faith and the sign of the cross” St Anthony of the Desert.

Did you do the Gollum-esque voice about a third of the way into file number 2 or was that an edit with different person doing it?

I always enjoyed the late Don LaFontaine’s voice-overs. Amazing voice talent.

I use an Audio-Technica AT2020 USB Microphone, along with Audacity open source, cross-platform software for recording. I have a nice double layer pop filter too. Sound reproduction with this combo is fantastic.

We have a Blue Yeti USB mic. as well for the stereo effect.

What set-up are you using domNoah?

All the voices are mine on some of my other Audiobooks their is a female voice by another person, sometimes with filters, acting or a combination of both. I use an Alesis USB mic, a pop filter, and a good room to record in.

Hello domNoah, I’m just popping in to say that I downloaded a few of your recordings and have so far listened to “The Holy Rosary Remedy Against Modern Evils” series (not done yet).

Well done sir! And thank you very, very much!

I’ve grown into a distaste for secular media this past year (tv/radio/etc.) and am filling that void with good Catholic audio. I now do my house cleaning with sermons and talks playing in the background rather than the news channel or top 40 hits and I find it’s making a big difference for me. I also load them up on my phone and plug it into the car stereo system when I’m out running errands. I have more opportunity to “listen” rather than read so I truly appreciate these.

Keep them coming! I hunger for the more traditional/orthodox/saints/Church Fathers/ and happy to see you’ve got quite a lot of it for me
