St Augustine said that miracles are not events that suspend the law of nature but intensification of it. How does this go with the Eucharistic Miracles that have happened.
**I did not read this from an Augustine peices but from a Bishop Robert Barron video **
Thanks

You would need to have a better idea of what Augustine meant by “suspend”, “intensify”, and “nature”.
I am not familiar with the quote, but from the little I have read of Augustine and other fathers, I would understand it as “…miracles do not hold back nature, but rather more fully reveal the true nature and show true reality more plainly to us…”.
The Eucharistic Miracles, for example, in that light, are not some suspension of reality in regards to the Host. Rather, they more clearly present to us what the Eucharist truly is; Jesus Christ, present under the appearance of plain bread and wine, in the re-presentation of His once-for-all sacrifice for us, in which all peoples in all generations may participate.

Alright thank you! I think I may have just not understood what was being said.
