St.Bridget Twelve Year Novena

Should I use the 15 prayers of St Bridget in the twelve year novena? If not, which prayers/text should I use? I ask this as I am coming to the end of my first year (two days left!) and would like to carry on if at all possible. I wouldn’t like to say the 15 prayers for twelve years only to find out I’ve said the wrong ones! Thank you very much in advance!

It certainly looks as though it’s a different set of prayers than the 15 prayers of St. Bridget, which would mean I would have to start again from the beginning Does anyone have a link to the actual text of the twelve year Novena? With only two days remaining of my one year novena, I’m afraid I’ve left it a little late to discover any info on the twelve year novena

As for the promises, I am aware of the controversy surrounding them. This doesn’t bother me unduly; I’m saying them because they are wonderful prayers.

That is an excellent approach to saying those prayers.

They are indeed beautiful, but some people have gotten caught up in the so-called “promises” that do not have Church approval. I’m glad to hear you’re not one of them!

The Church doesn’t require that you believe the promises. It’s good to pray these prayers for one’s sanctification.

This is a wonderful way to meditate on the Passion everyday.
