While in the bay area this past weekend I drove past St. Brigid in downtown San Francisco. It’s an old beautiful granite church. It’s sad that they actually closed down this church in 1994 and apparantly will soon demolish it to make way for housing.

I am beginning to wonder just how many of these old architecturally beautiful churches across the U.S. are being closed and demolished. Does anyone have information on other churches in this situation?
