Interested in choosing St. Christina for my patron saint at confirmation. She’s listed in older Roman Martyrologies, but I can’t verify for myself that she is listed in the most current version promulgated in 2004 because I can’t read Latin (document not yet translated into English).
I know her life is shrouded in lots of legend, and hoping she “made the cut” so to speak as later Roman Martyrologies sought to do away with pious fiction. Wikipedia and Catholic Online claim she has a brief entry in the latest martyrology. It does appear that there are a few parishes in the US named after her. I guess I can assume she still counts as a legitimate saint?
Once a saint, always a saint?
