Our beloved priest, who is only in his 50’s, is being sent here. He has a illness, but he never did let the parish know what was wrong with him. I worry about him being sent off so far away, not knowing anyone at this friary. If he would of stayed here, the parishoners and fellow priests could visit him everyday. I am looking for any information on this Friary, my children are asking what life will be like for him now. He was a great priest, and we will miss him dearly. But why does he have to go so far away? He could receive treatment here where he has ministered for the last nine years. Our family will keep in touch by writting to him, is there anything else we can do to make him feel better!
Thanks for any help!!

Is this preist an OFM Cap? If so then he is sent where his order sends him. Order priests are in obedience to their Superiors and perhaps this facility cares for the ill friars of their provience. He will be well taken care of.
