Which is it when refering to this saint in the US?

Hi Matt. My sisters Patron Saint… is St. Clare of Assisi. We live in the U.S., but it’s probably the same spelling in other english speaking nations. I believe “Clara” is simply the latin spelling of the name. I’ve seen holy cards of St. Clare of Assisi… with the latin inscription… “Sancta Clara”. And in California… where I come from… there is the city of Santa Clara. To the best of my knowledge, they all refer to St. Clare of Assisi. Not sure about the spelling “Clair”… which I haven’t seen. Maybe someone else will comment on that spelling.
