To revive this topic, on EWTN they have been running the 8 part series on “Mary de Jesus”, a Spanish production. stteresamargaret.org/

Sometimes I wonder if St. Faustina’s and St. Teresa Margaret of the Sacred Heart had close to the same message. I really need to read up on St. Teresa Margaret.

I recently finished her diary. I required 4 months to read it simply (for me) I could only handle a couple of pages at a time before I’d have to sit and ponder it.

In addition to learning about the infinite mercy available to us, it also teaches how we are so directly connected to each other spiritually.

Even if a person was orbiting the planet in space ship with no windows, and all they did was pray for us down here, their prayers have a direct and objective impact on us. The diary shows that very clearly.

Entry #86 is scary - but when you think about it - we should live like the world is going to end any day anyway.

The great thing about her diary is, if you read it again, new things will be noticed to ponder. At least that’s been my experience. It also seemed to open up the New Testament, especially the Gospels, in a whole new way.
