Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As the USA experiences some difficulties with this election cycle, I was blessed in reading this prayer of St. Faustina:
Most merciful Jesus, I beseech You through the intercession of Your saints, and especially the intercession of Your dearest Mother who nurtured You from childhood: bless my native land. I beg You Jesus. look not on our sins, but on the tears of little children, on the hunger and cold they suffer. Jesus for the sake of these innocent ones, grant me the grace that I am asking of You for my country”.
[The moment St. Faustina said this prayer she saw Jesus, His eyes filled with tears; and He said to her: “You see, My daughter, what great compassion I have for them. Know that it is they who uphold the world.” ——Diary of St. Faustina 286]
How true it is that children so often suffer from the sins of their parents, yet God does not forget them! Nor do the saints forget to pray. By God’s Grace, may we too pray for our country. God has blessed us, and to those whom much is given, much will be expected.

Mary, Mother of Sorrows, Queen of Peace, pray for us.
St. Faustina, pray for us.
Jesus, we trust in You!

This prayer is good. I will say this prayer if Bernie wins so those loyal to the Lord can remain safe.

Thanks for your reply, Joseph.

God’s ways are mysterious. It seems most important for us to pray for His Will and to trust He knows what is best for us. These are strange times in which we are living. God has given humanity free will and so many gifts whereby we can discern His Truth, yet …

Mary, Mother and Model, pray for us.
Come Holy Spirit, kindle in us the Fire of Your Love.
Jesus, we trust in You!
