St. Ignatius of Antioch

I posted this question some days ago but can’t remember which forum I used. I’ve checked the descriptions of all forums and this one seems to be the most appropriate. If its not please tell me where to post.
I would like to learn more about St. Ignatius of Antioch and wish to know of any Catholic approved books on him. Also does the Church accept as genuine the 7 epistles he wrote, and was he a follower of the Apostle John?
