I’ve always heard that St. John Bosco was incorrupt, but then read this little “pamphlet” that came along with a brown scapular emphasizing the miracles of the scapular. It said that when they exhumed his body, it was decayed, but the scapular was still in pristine condition.

So which miracle is it??? :o:confused:

Oh see now I am confused lol. is there anyone who can find the repor of the exhumation? Because I am seeing a 50-50 split on whether he is incorrupt or not. An offical document would be nice. To the OP: Sorry, I guess more research is needed lol:D

No problem! I’m actually in Turin right now and have seen the wax figure of his body. I’ve heard so many conflicting stories on it, from that being his body, to he’s only partially corrupt. Can never get a straight answer!

I’ve done some research, and this is what I’ve found…

-The body itself is only partially in-corrupt, and lies underneath a wax replica of the saint. I’ve seen it with my own eyes, as I live in Turin at the moment. I was very confused the first time I saw it, because even the hair’s wax.

-The “body” that was shown throughout the world last year was a replica. I know this from emailing the people who were in charge of this. Unfortunately, many people get confused with this exposition. They either think it’s the real body, or since they see it’s made of wax, think St. Bosco isn’t in-corrupt at all.

I’m actually very interested in this topic, so if anybody has any information (that you know for a fact, and not hearsay, as there are sooo many opinions), then I’d greatly appreciate it if you wrote it on this forum, or sent my a message.

Thanks!
