Dear Brothers and Sisters,
In the final Apparition of Our Lady at Fatima, Oct. 13, 1917 - it has become more significant to me – there was also an apparition of St. Joseph with the Child Jesus in his arms. St. Joseph and Jesus both blessed the crowd. It has become more significant to me during this 100th Year Anniversary, because we are seeing in our time 2017, increasing attacks on the family.
Sister Lucia, oldest of the children, in her last book, “Calls” From the Message of Fatima, , Chapter 18 - “The Call to the sanctification of the family” wrote:
Pope Benedict XVI, now Pope Emeritus once said: “We would be mistaken to think that Fatima’s prophetic mission is complete”. (Address at Fatima (May 13, 2010). In that same Address he also encouraged all: "Yes! God can come to us, and show Himself to the eyes of our heart. Moreover, that Light deep within the shepherd children, which comes from the future of God, is the same Light which was manifested in the fullness of time and came for us all: the Son of God made man. "
By God’s Grace, may we pray the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary today, asking for God’s Light to shine in and through us and upon all the families of the world.

Sister goes on, as is her pattern in this book, to quote from Scripture, Old and New Testaments, God’s Word from which she draws Wisdom and presents her humble reflections on the Message given to the children.
