St. Joseph's lineage

I was reading Luke Chapter 3

Then I read the OT book of Haggai

In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah,

Suddenly the names jumped out at me.
The first genealogy is St. Joseph… in Luke.
The second from the OT Haggai… is it the same genealogy? I see Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel…

The last verse of Haggai…
On that day,’ declares the LORD of hosts, ‘I will take you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, My servant,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you,’" declares the LORD of hosts.

How merciful and constant is our Lord, if this is the same family line and St. Joseph has been chosen for this prophecy’s fulfillment… some 520 years have passed…

Luke 3 is the Genealogy of Jesus, not of St. Joseph

The same names will be seen in Matthew 1:12

What the gospels are showing is not the relationship to St. Joseph, but the relationship of these men in the Davidic line, which fulfills the prophecy of the Messiah coming from the line of David…which both evangelists show Jesus does.

Jesus, as it was THOUGHT, of Joseph… We know HE wasn’t. But Joseph was chosen to be his foster father… son of Heli, son of Matthat…son of Zerubbable, son of Shealtiel…

520 years before the birth of Christ, the family of JOSEPH was chosen… King David had a lot of sons… am I wrong about this???
