How did St. JP2 modify the Rosary when he prayed it?

I remember it was a something within the Hail Mary’s, but cannot remember where or what it was.

I believe is was along the lines of

Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among and Blessed is the Fruit of your womb, Jesus, who died on the cross for us. Holy Mary Mother of God Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

if he was praying the Mystery of Jesus’ Crucifixion…

I would love to hear back from y’all soon on this so I can use it at a rosary service at 1330 EST today!

Thanks and Merry Christmas! 🙂

The only change that I am aware that St. John Paul II made to the Rosary was to add the Luminous Mysteries. I have never heard nor come across the extra words to the Hail Mary that you put in bold, nor can I find them doing an Internet search.

He didn’t change anything. As DGB said, he merely added Luminous Mystery to complete the reflection on the life of Christ.
I don’t know where you heard this, but no.
Merry Christmas.
