I was on the forums (procrastinating about uni work again… seems a common theme) so thought I may as well bring up St Jude here again. One of the things when you pray for his intercession is you are supposed to let others know about him and how he helped you (so perhaps they will also seek his intercession on their behalf). He was one of the 12 apostles, also known as Thaddeus. He wrote the book of Jude which is in the New Testament. He is the patron saint of desperate situations, lost causes, hope of the hopeless. He helped me to pass a difficult subject at university and he helped my friend get well who had leukemia. He’s been around to hear my prayers when I had trouble talking to anyone else. Let us know how St Jude has helped you out.

Helped me get a job which so far has been good to me, helped me finally get back to uni (final semester, going OK so far, but like you Im procrastinating with some work at the moment), helped with a lot of little things as well.

St Jude, patron of hopeless cases, pray for us :crossrc:

'Sif this thread gets bumped down off the page with only one reply. In other regions of the Internet people pay money to have their message of thanks to St. Jude permanently online, well here it is free. Or has the practice of praying to him gone down in recent times? Nobody find themselves in tough situations these days?

My girlfriend’s just had a roommate who is a Catholic. Although, she will be sharing the room with the lady for 2 months, our prayer has been granted. We asked for a good Catholic roommate. 🙂 Thanks to Saint Jude.

We are continuing to ask him for his intercession for one more Catholic roommate.
