Hi,
This is my very first time posting. I wanted to give thanks to St Jude for helping me in my time of need, for comforting me and giving me the strength and courage to face the day ahead.

I wondered if I could ask St Jude for help again. I suffer from anxiety, mild depression and I am a terrible worrier. I want to start another novena to ask St Jude to make me stronger and be able to value myself and be more confident. I understand it may not seem like much to some people who have tremendous suffering and pain and feel unworthy of asking for help.

Can anyone please advise me if this is too insignificant for St Jude to help with?

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Nothing is too insignificant for St. Jude, your guardian angel, or any of the other myriads of angels that surround God’s Throne, or that in his Mercy He has poured down upon the earth in great vast abundance, so yes, you can ask again. 🙂

And, of course, the Three Persons of the Trinity also hear every prayer. 👍
 
Father, in Jesus’ name, please guide and lead Patsy to peace and trust that she will find healing for what is wounded in her heart and soul.

For Patsy I pray:

Grant me Your Spirit

Holy Spirit, I need wisdom, discernment and unconditional love. Will You share Yours with me? Help me to persevere in these necessary virtues, even where there is wounding within me greater than anyone is aware.

Help me to carry my daily responsibilities with faith and hope, and mindful of Your command to love God above all and others as self, in Sacramental worship and with practical acts of kindness.

Help me to find healing for injuries and scars that prevent me from fully becoming the person I am created to be. Come into my mind and soul, and help me through the rest of my life.

I need You, Holy Spirit. Please access the gifts and beauty of my unique creation in God’s image. For others’ benefit and for Your glory, give me a deep appreciation and use of the goodness, loveliness joy and blessing of this creation that You mean me to be.

Prayer to St Jude to intervene for you in your time of need, whatever the need, is never insignificant. Praying with you and for you also.

St. Jude

Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of difficult cases, of things almost despaired of, Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone.
Intercede with God for me that He bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly -
relief and healing of anxiety.
  • and that I may praise God with you and all the saints forever. I promise, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor granted me by God and to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you.

Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, you graciously chose St. Dymphna as patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional, and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all suffering such trials, especially Patsy.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna on our behalf. Grant Patsy patience in her sufferings and resignation to your divine will.

Please fill her with hope, and grant her the relief and cure she so desire.
We ask this through Christ our Lord who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.
