A friend of mine will be going to St. Louis for a few days in September. Can you please give me the name(s) of some good, solid parishes in town? Thanx in advance!
Saint John the Apostle (Downtown)
Basilica of Saint Louis the King (Old Cathedral - Riverfront)
Saint Francis DeSales (Near South Side - Tridientine)
Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis (Central West End)
The Cathedral Basilica in St. Louis (I think someone already mentioned this one) is beautiful! My husband and I were there last weekend visiting my family and we went to mass there. It is all mosaic inside. Actually, I think it might be one of if not the largest mosaic display in the world. I would definitely recommend that one.
Also I would like to mention the Cloistered Carmelite chapel. It is rather big, and their masses are very orthodox. I also know of a church that has latin mass, though I believe it has moved to another parish (a bigger one because so many people attend!). Just check it out on latinmass.org
