This is going to be one of those wierd threads. I couldn’t help but think about St. Mary Magdalen last night and as I thought about it, I wondered what she would be like in the modern age. I thought about the fact that she had 7 demons and wondered what they could be. Possibly Lust, Fame, Materialism, Vulgarity, etc. Then I thought, “Gee this reminds me of Madonna the pop star”. Although I wouldn’t put a label on her because she may have already repented and not made it public. But then I think I would really like to see her come back to the faith and become a great saint like St. Mary M. She’s already baptised. All she would have to do is go for confession and repent. After Mary Magdalen repented she was the first to see our risen Lord. Can you picture Jesus with Madonna? What a great intercessor for her.
