I have enjoyed Koontz’s suspense thrillers for a long time, particularly the Odd Thomas novels. I’ve read the first two and intend on getting the lastest, Brother Odd, soon also.

I find his fiction always has a positive meaning and ending even when it deals with dark themes. I thought I had read somewhere that he was Catholic before. Glad that it was confirmed.

It is his endings that leave some hope which makes me prefer his books to Stephen King’s. And I have always felt he had a Catholic background.
