Ephesians 6: 14 So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate, 15 and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace.

I Thessalonians 5: 8 But since we are of the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love and the helmet that is hope for salvation.

So we are justified through a “faith working in love” (Gal 5:6). I think that’s the conclusion. 🙂

Galatians’ love shows love is superior; I Cor. 13: 1-7 shows love is superior; and the great commandment always says love is first and thus the greatest, too.

Various aspects of Scripture are speaking of various aspects of Christian life and Faith.

See Pope Benedict XVI for very good exergesis of Paul on Justification

Jesus is teaching Love is first in the cardinal sense and not in the ordinal sense.

Love rules all!
