How did St. Paul know so much about Jesus’ life & ministry? Was it through divine revelation and the works of the Holy Spirit or was it through his association with some of Jesus’s disciples?

Don’t want to overstep my bounderies, but try reading Gal 1:11-24 and see if that helps you find what you are looking for. I believe it was a combination of what you stated, but that is just my opinion.
Ther is a bit when St. Paul talks about himself in 2 Cor 12:1-7, but you can take the reading further. It mentions about revelations in verse 7. In 1 Cor 11:23 at the start of St. Paul’s recollection of the Lord’s supper he talks of what he received from our Lord. How did he receive this from the Lord ? He wasn’t in the upper room at the time of the Last Supper discourse.

Actually, Paul writes almost nothing of Jesus’ life or ministry - he is almost totally focused on the death and resurrection. He pretty much shows no knowledge of the birth stories, the miracles, the parables, or the general teachings we see throughout the gospels.

Was not St.Luke’s gospel writings knowledge from St. Paul ? This has the most info out of any of the other gospel accounts as far as Jesus birth.

I think that Paul and Luke were in Ephesus where Mary lived with John. I think Luke was the only gospel writer to interview Mary, that is why his accounts are more detailed on those points.

From a combination of Acts 22:3, Acts 9 and Galatians 1, it can be deciphered that Paul was an educated and well respected member of the Jewish religion. After his conversion by Christ Himself, a period of three years passed prior to the beginning of his public ministry. During this time, Paul asserts that he received the Gospel of Christ from Christ Himself. Undoubtedly, the Holy Spirit revealed the true meaning of the Old Testament (at that time the extent of Holy Scripture) with respect to its pointing to Christ. Paul’s intimate knowledge of this Scripture obviously complemented this process of revelation and is a great example of why we must all study and be familiar with the tenets of our Faith.
