I know St. Paul persecuted the early Church and then was blinded by Jesus until Ananias open his eyes. But where did St. Paul obtain all his knowledge about Jesus? Did it all come to him when he was blind?
No, Saul persecuted the church.I know St. Paul persecuted the early Church and then was blinded by Jesus until Ananias open his eyes. But where did St. Paul obtain all his knowledge about Jesus? Did it all come to him when he was blind?
Just my speculation: I think he got it directly from Jesus during that three years. That is the same amount of time that the original 12 spent with Jesus.. . …
After his conversion he spent 3 years in the desert, probably with other Christians, and get educated in the teaching and life of Jesus.
. . …
That is possible, but not necessary.Just my speculation: I think he got it directly from Jesus during that three years. That is the same amount of time that the original 12 spent with Jesus.
I don’t mean to imply that Jesus was physically visible to him during that time. I think that the knowledge came by infusion as he meditated.
Just my :twocents:
Sadly: none of the signatures of any of the writers of Holy Scripture exist today.Another question related to this…
Do the original copies of the letters of St. Paul exist today?
