I have been struggling with some chronic health problems. I live with a lot of back pain and have been dealing with major digestive problems since having surgery last fall. Recently, a few people have been strongly urging me to go the St. Peregrine healing service that is being held tomorrow night. Everything I read about St. peregrine refers to him as the saint for people with cancer and other life-threatening diseases like AIDS. My problems have been life altering, but thankfully, not life threatening. I’m thinking I don’t belong at the service, but admit I don’t really know, since I’m new to the church (in RCIA). Should I go or not?
