St. Therese's Prayer (?)

I received this in an email, credited as “St. Therese’s Prayer”. I have no idea whether it really comes from her, but I did like the prayer and thought it worth sharing regardless of what its source may be.

Saint Therese’s Prayer

May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let his presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

It is there for each and everyone of us.

I get so annoyed by that piece of late 20th Century writing being passed off as written by St. Therese that I cannot enjoy it for itself. I receive it at least once a month and send it directly to the trash bin every time.

It is beautiful. Like you said, John, it may or may not be from St. Therese, but it is beautiful.

I dont think it is from St. Therese’s pen, although it is indeed very beautiful…all for that sort of spam…Blessings - Barb:)
