Please don’t read into my question I just want to verify what a friend of mine said. He told me that St. Thomas Aquinas wrote that sexual sins were the most forgivable since they were the closest to impinging on our free will. Does anyone know if this is true and or where it is written?

I am not familiar enough with St Thomas’ writings to answer this. However, I do recall that, at one of her apparitions, Mary said that Lust was the least of the capital sins, BUT it was the one that took the most souls to Hell. 😦

Here’s Summa: newadvent.org/summa/index.html

If he said that, it’s likely to be there. I’d suggest consulting a priest or a learned person if there’s something you don’t understand and some things have the potential to be rather difficult.
